“The George Protocol incorporates a belief in the holistic nature of the human body and a deep respect for the body’s ability to heal itself when given proper tools.”
That statement represents one of the fundamental elements of our approach here at the EuroMed Foundation. We believe that focusing solely on killing cancer cells without regard for the rest of the body — which is essentially what you will find with traditional chemotherapy — is detrimental to the immune system and the ability of the patient to stay cancer-free in the future.
Holistic cancer treatment instead emphasizes complementary therapies that enable us to strengthen the patient’s immune system. Our physicians customize treatment plans based on a patient’s unique condition and the type of cancer present, among several other factors. This approach is quite different than conventional treatment, which in many cases weakens a patient’s immune system and leads some to conclude that the “cure” is worse than the illness.
So, what are complementary therapies, then? As you can see on our website, we use a range of treatments to help our patients heal and recover more comfortably than men and women who undergo conventional chemotherapy. The targeted use of complementary therapies, especially for those patients undergoing low-dose chemotherapy, is what sets EuroMed apart from many other alternative cancer treatment centers.
We have a few important goals with our complementary therapies:
- Aggressively, but safely targeting cancer cells. In addition to Insulin Potention Therapy (IPT) we use intravenous vitamin C, the dietary supplement Poly-MVA, and other remedies.
- Supporting the liver and detoxification abilities while patients undergo IPT.
- Creating an environment in the body that is hostile to cancer and re-training your immune system to fight cancer.
Because a one-size-fits-all approach to cancer treatment isn’t as effective, EuroMed’s staff chooses the combination of therapies that are best suited for the specific form of cancer that’s been diagnosed.
